Social Sciences

This specialization is for students interested in broadening and supplementing their education in the social sciences and related areas at the graduate level. Students who wish to complete a particular program of study which is interdisciplinary in nature and includes a strong component in one or more social sciences may consider enrolling in this program. Areas of study may be chosen from any three graduate subject matter areas at Iowa State University, but the major emphasis of study must be in the area of social sciences in order to qualify for this degree.
